When Bunny was 24, he graduated from Hampden College, Vermont with a degree in the study of Classics. Never particularly passionate about his studies, he had no ambitions of his own for the future. It was an unspoken fact that he would follow in his father's footsteps to become a bank president, marry his college sweetheart and have a big family with her.But, as fate would have it, Bunny's story would take a turn for the worse. And it all started with the disappearance of his best friend, Henry Winter. Not particularly fond of his other 'friends' (who were really only his classmates, since their class had only 6 students in total), Bunny felt entirely isolated. He tried for months to call and write to Henry, to no avail.Henry had vanished off the face of the Earth, and this was no mistake. For a while now, their friendship had been wrought with tension and part of Bunny, deep down, knew that Henry was getting tired of him and that their friendship was quickly losing color. That was what drove Bunny to the edge, since he was unable to accept that he'd driven away the one person who meant the world to him. Essentially, he had been abandoned by the person that he perhaps loved the most.Henry had also been a financer of Bunny's extravagant lifestyle, so with him out of the picture, Bunny found himself back to how he had been living life 4 years ago, before college, before he'd met Henry. Barely scraping by. To expand his financial horizons (because he wanted to get rich quick, and he lacked passion for any 'real' job. He wasn't made for labor or working or anything- Bunny is lazy and aimless.Due to this, he contacted an old friend, Cloke Rayburn, who knew the business better than him. He had been Bunny's dealer in college. Cloke gave him the information and contacts he needed, but he also warned him to not go into this lifestyle. Bunny did not heed these warnings and sought out various criminals, wanting to get 'in' with them and their organizations. But Bunny Corcoran was not made for the cutting, cunning life of crime. And he only realized this when he was in too deep.Ultimately, he ended up owing money to the wrong people- oceans of debt - and this caused his debtors to gain complete power over his entire life.
TRIGGER WARNING FOR MENTIONS OF SA AND FORCED PROSTITUTION: Bunny was sexually abused by some members of the Rosetti organization, and because he wasn't making enough money through odd jobs to pay them back, they also forced him into prostitution.This was not the start of his downfall, as it had started way before, but it was certainly the catalyst. Bunny's coping mechanisms (for the abandonment, for the things he had endured) were what you would expect of an immature man like him: drugs and more drugs.His relationship with his girlfriend, Marion Barnbridge, fell apart. His father discovered his 'occupation' and disowned him. He was now completely cut off from the entire world he had once known.Currently, Bunny has lived 3 years of this life of exploitment and addiction. He still works as a stripper ╱ courtesan ╱ drug slinger . He nurses a broken heart that's almost gone numb from the things he's seen and done.

IN THE PAST Bunny Corcoran was an arrogant, selfish, offensive prick. He was extremely homophobic and somewhat misogynistic. All these traits seemed to come to him naturally, as if these were the values he had grown up with. Of course, Bunny belonged to a rich, white family with generational wealth (even if his family is broke now, under the surface of all their branded clothes and things).Bunny was insensitive, cruel, and even dangerously perceptive. He used this perception of his to target weaknesses in other people, whether it be friend or foe.Ironically, despite all these awful traits, Bunny was incredibly naïve. He had no sense of how the world actually worked, because his 'privilege' and the neglect he faced from his parents acted as shields from the real world. Bunny possessed a sort of childishness, obvious in his mischief, his bright-eyed demeanor and his immature way of dealing with things. He is emotionally stunted, and despite being an adult man, he often percieved the world in a very black-and-white, very self-centered (again, immature) way.After the things that happen in his life (detailed in his lore), Bunny matures in some ways. Of course, he is still extremely emotionally stunted and immature, given that his coping mechanism for anything is hard drugs or reckless sex. But his homophobia (which was internalized homophobia) has since diminished, though it is not entirely gone as he feels a strong sense of disgust and repulsion for himself. He is less childish when it comes to women, too.
